| Taylor says Cordova Community Center Project on Schedule |

The new Bert Ferguson Community Center in Cordova is on schedule and under budget according to Councilman Brent Taylor. "I'm pleased to report that the new Cordova community center is 90% complete," remarked Taylor. He says the project will be completed by late January, and the cost will come in below the $4.8 million that was budgeted.
The 32,000 square foot facility at 8505 Trinity Road will include a full gymnasium, two racquetball courts, a dance studio, an art studio, a fitness room, two multi-purpose rooms, a conference room, and a banquet room. Staffing, programming, and scheduling should be completed in January.
